For our client, we are seeking a Director, Program Management to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.
This role will guide portfolio-level capital planning and program delivery across complex construction initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You will partner closely with clients and executive stakeholders to align project strategies with business objectives, strengthen governance, and improve outcomes at scale. The position also emphasizes technology adoption, automation, and better reporting to support more effective capital execution and operational excellence.
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Compensation: $204,000 – $240,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio-level capital planning, forecasting, and budget management
- Develop and maintain CAPEX budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics
- Partner with clients to align project strategies with business objectives
- Implement and champion advanced project management technologies
- Drive automation and enhance reporting and analytics processes
- Advise clients on portfolio governance and construction best practices
- Manage and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management
- 7+ years leading capital projects or construction programs
- 2+ years of experience in team leadership, including mentoring and performance management
- Proven ability to manage complex construction budgets and schedules
- Experience in fast-paced environments handling multiple projects concurrently
- Strong technical skills in project management platforms and digital tools
