Director, Product ManagementSupermicro is seeking for multiple director-level candidates with superior knowledge, leadership, analytical, strategic, and mentorship skills to be part of our fast-growing server department. This individual will work with external clients and feedback to design team to drive the development and improvement of storage server products. Additionally, the candidate will take the lead in creating aggressive go-to market plans, and develop product roadmaps, strategically placing the in-house server products in the market to ensure maximum visibility.

This position will be based at our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):Manage in-house server products through entire product lifecycle from POC to EOLAnalyze market and business trends, develop tactics and programs to grow market share through strategically positioned Supermicro server products to maximize competitivenessWork closely with customers to define and refine the specifications of the products, work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the products meet the expectation of external clients.Lead research and analysis of technology, customer, and competitor trends to develop platform portfolio strategy and roadmapWork closely with customers and internal teams to represent voice of the customer and field in planningIdentify, prioritize, and address requirements of enterprise customers for existing and emerging use cases with evolving datacenter deployment considerationsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to drive NPI and go-to market roadmap executionQualifications:Bachelor in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences; Master's degree in engineering discipline or business is highly preferable15+ years of extensive product leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people management and influence skillsIn-depth knowledge in server products its architecture, and product roadmapMust have business acumen and ability to build business cases, communicate effectively with professionally done presentations and write-ups, influence others, and measure successDevelop, install, and evaluate new and revised methods, procedures, and performance standards to meet established goals and objectivesAbility to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goalsAptitude to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with both the client and internal staff members and to deal effectively with conflictsSalary Range $200,000 - $250,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
