Overview

Director, Product Management – Payments Product Management at Capital One will lead the strategic evolution of the Payments Platform, leveraging emerging innovations to unlock transformative value for customers and the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Create a long‑term roadmap that supports the broader enterprise vision and industry trends.
• Engage Lines of Business (LOBs) to define, prioritize and build reusable capabilities to support payment strategies across the company.
• Partner closely with Technology to ensure the platform architecture can support existing and emerging value drivers.
• Collaborate with Program to create and maintain well‑defined and sustainable communication channels with our LOB partners.
• Ensure the platform is accurate and performant.
• Develop and align on the platform’s data posture.
• Drive tooling to improve reconciliation.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management.
• Currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or MBA with a quantitative concentration in fields such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.

Salary and Benefits

• McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000
• New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900
• Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100
• Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation (cash bonus and/or long‑term incentives).
