Leading a team of eight (8) experienced Manager/Sr. Managers, the GCL CCPM will be accountable and responsible for approximated $1B in annual capital spend (project driven) for J&J companies in the MedTech sector.
Develop & shape category & spend performance strategies utilizing all available capabilities & tools (category strategy, market intelligence, advanced sourcing).
Provide procurement leadership to stakeholders and business partners; connect resources and partner capabilities for key capital and infrastructure projects focused on MedTech, Infrastructure.
Lead, partner or collaborate with project teams comprising internal functions (Engineering, QA, SCM, Finance, Legal) and external partners, to design & execute sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier relationship initiatives delivering optimal speed, supply reliance, safe & reliable services, timelines and total cost.
Develop cost improvement / avoidance initiatives through category strategies, sourcing, SRM and innovation.
Contribute to J&J’s commitment to sustainability and emissions reduction.
Build strong & sustainable relationships with market leaders in construction and project management (Jacobs Engineering, PM Group, Schneider Electric, JCI).
Shape & enhance competence and capabilities of the team.
Build a highly competent and diverse team of talents to partner effectively and efficiently with business partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree (Business, Engineering, Science); MBA or other master’s preferred.
10+ years relevant professional experience.
Exposure to MedTech and/or global markets is desirable.
Strategic procurement, sourcing, category and supplier management experience in the supply chain environment.
Experience working with technical, supply chain and functional partners.
Strong business and finance acumen, and experience managing impact in complex matrix environment.
Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, and cross-functional project capability.
Ability to engage, interact, and negotiate enhanced value relationships with suppliers.
Experience in a regulated, complex stakeholder environment; rich influencing skills.
