We are partnered with an established and growing utility contrac tor in Central Michigan on a confidential retained search for a Director of PMO.
The business has a strong track record across Transmission & Distribution and Substation Construc tion and is now investing heavily in expanding its EPC capabilities. The current PM organization consists of 6–7 professionals and is expected to grow to 14–15 over the next 6 mo nths to support a significant increase in workload and project volume.
This is a key leadership hire responsible for developing the PM organization, establishing scalable processes and controls, improving project performance, and helping build the infrastructure required to support the company's next phase of growth.
Key Requirements
- Senior-level Project Management / PMO leadership experience within utility construction.
- Strong background across T&D, Substation, HV or related infrastructure.
- Experience leading and developing Project Managers and growing teams.
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost control, scheduling and risk management.
- Experience developing PM processes, systems and project controls.
- EPC / Design-Build experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to project execution.
- Performance bonuses tied to team and project performances
