Director, Patient Safety & Risk Management

UVA Health is seeking a Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety to lead enterprise safety and risk initiatives in an academic health system. The role partners with executive teams, clinical staff, and legal counsel to advance a culture of safety and accountability.

Responsibilities include leading the Patient Safety Office, managing safety events and investigations, performing mortality reviews and root cause analyses, and delivering executive reports to inform strategic decisions.
