Director of Yacht Construction & Refit

Prop & Rudder is partnered with a top yacht builder in the country that is seeking an experienced Marine Carpenter to join their team.

This role involves hands‑on carpentry work on new builds and refits, with a strong focus on high‑end craftsmanship, precision, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior marine carpentry on yachts and custom vessels
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install cabinetry, bulkheads, trim, decking, and custom woodwork
• Work with teak and other marine‑grade materials
• Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Marine Carpenter or Yacht Carpenter
• Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques and materials
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
