Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization, development, and daily supervision of Therapy Operations to ensure delivery of the highest quality patient care
- Manage, mentor, and lead a large team including 1 PT Team Lead, 1 OT Team Lead, 1 SLP Team Lead, and approximately 80 therapy staff (PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, and rehab technicians)
- Develop, revise, implement, and communicate therapy policies, processes, and procedures while holding staff accountable
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and Regional Director of Therapy Operations to align operations with hospital goals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and promote continuous quality improvement in therapy services
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on patient outcomes and professional growth
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted license in Virginia as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech‑Language Pathologist (or eligible to transfer licensure to VA)
- Current BLS certification
- At least 5 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospital or acute care hospital settings
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing large therapy teams (experience with teams of significant size preferred)
- Proven leadership tenure with preference for at least 2+ years in leadership roles
- Hands‑on experience working directly with therapists and patients in inpatient rehab or acute care (no interest in purely corporate/program development backgrounds or outpatient‑only experience)
