This is a high-profile position that will have exposure across the entire business, influencing the design and implementation of process, technology and product features experienced by millions of consumers daily.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage three squads that own recommendation technology, consumer experience, and infrastructureManage a team of 10 to 15Grow and nurture the development of an outstanding team of engineersCollaborate with Product, Science, and customer facing leaders to design and execute product roadmapsDrive improvements in process, technology, and executionOversee the execution of multiple projects, aligning resources, timelines, and dependenciesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align engineering execution with business resultsCommunicate constantly; ensure transparency, collaboration, and feedback both inside and external to your teamContribute to architecture and design decisions.
Lead efforts to build and maintain a highly scalable software platformDesired Skills and Experience12+ years of experience building commercial softwarePrior experience in a leadership role within engineering organizationsSaaS experience is a must; both enterprise and consumer experienced desiredDeep understanding of Agile strategies and methods, and evolving them for scaleExcellent time management and organizational skills.
