Director of Salesforce Technologies

We are seeking a Director of Salesforce Technologies to lead the strategy, architecture, development, and optimization of our enterprise Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on Salesforce leader who can balance technical execution with team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and long-term CRM strategy.

The ideal candidate is essentially a Salesforce Development Manager at the Director level : someone capable of architecting solutions, mentoring developers, driving enterprise initiatives, and remaining actively involved in development and integration efforts.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Hedge Funds, Wealth Management, or Professional Services environments .

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce technology roadmap, architecture, and CRM strategy.
• Lead and mentor Salesforce developers and CRM technology teams.
• Design and oversee Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
• Establish Salesforce development standards, security, governance, data quality, and best practices.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for CRM technology initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Relationship Management, and Operations leaders to deliver business-driven solutions.
• Manage Salesforce releases, environments, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, contributing to technical design and complex development efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of CRM and enterprise application development experience.
• Deep Salesforce architecture, development, and administration expertise.
• Strong experience designing enterprise CRM solutions and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Apex
• Salesforce DevOps & Release Management
• C#
• Python
• SQL Server
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure technologies including Azure SQL, App Services, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven leadership experience managing development teams and technical vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services, Asset Management, or Hedge Fund experience.
• Salesforce Certifications.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Master Data Management (MDM).
• ETL and enterprise data integration tools.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as JAMS, ActiveBatch, or AutoSys.
