Build the Control Plane
Intelligence Layer for AI Search

Join the team creating the systems that control how brands are discovered, understood, and recommended across every major AI model.

Goodie helps leading brands win AI search. As billions of people use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI systems to discover products and make buying decisions, brands need a way to understand and influence how they’re represented.

Goodie gives teams a full AI control plane: real‑time visibility into how AI models speak about their brand and products, how competitors show up, and an optimization engine to improve visibility and performance. This category didn’t exist two years ago. We were early, and we’re defining it.

We’re backed by strong investors, trusted by category‑leading customers, and scaling fast. We’re hiring curious, ambitious builders to help shape the future of AI search.

What we’re looking for:

A hybrid operator who is equal parts marketer, strategist, and builder. You will own the full growth engine end‑to‑end and report directly to the CEO. You’re comfortable setting up tracking, building automations, and running experiments with statistical rigor. You’re also senior enough to own the strategic roadmap and present growth performance directly to the CEO.

You will work side‑by‑side with our growth marketing agency partner, who handles paid, content, and creative execution at scale. Your job is to set the strategy, coordinate the agency team, hold them accountable to results, and get into the work with them. You own the brief and the results. You own the strategy and the execution.

What you’ll do:

Brand and Product Marketing

  • Define and own Goodie’s brand narrative, positioning, and messaging across all audiences and channels
  • Own positioning and messaging for product launches and feature releases
  • Maintain competitive intelligence across the AEO, GEO, and broader AI search landscape
  • Own top‑of‑funnel and bottom‑of‑funnel metrics and report directly to the CEO

Growth, Performance, and AEO

  • Own Goodie’s AEO and SEO performance directly: we sell the platform, so we have to win at it ourselves
  • Plan and run paid campaigns with direct, hands‑on involvement: write the briefs, analyze performance, iterate creative and messaging
  • Run a high‑velocity experimentation program with clear hypotheses, real statistical rigor, and documented learnings

Analytics and Attribution

  • Build the measurement stack yourself: GA4, attribution modeling, leadership dashboards
  • Connect every marketing dollar to revenue with clear, defensible attribution
  • Live in the data: build your own models, identify the metrics that matter, and ruthlessly cut the ones that don’t

Automation and AI Leverage

  • Build automations, workflows, and internal tools that multiply marketing throughput
  • Use AI tools across the funnel: research, content, outreach, ops, reporting, and competitive intelligence
  • Treat the marketing function like a software product: ship, measure, iterate

Agency Management

  • Run the day‑to‑day relationship with the agency partner: set priorities, assign work, and hold the team accountable to KPIs
  • Coordinate across agency functions (paid media, AEO/SEO, content, creative) to ensure integrated campaign execution
  • Treat the agency as an extension of your team and execute alongside them, not above them

What you bring:

  • 5+ years in growth, performance marketing, or hybrid marketing roles, ideally at an early‑stage B2B SaaS company; clear track record of owning a growth number and hitting it
  • Hands‑on technical comfort: you can set up tracking and attribution infrastructure, build and iterate on landing pages without waiting on engineering, and build your own data models without needing a dashboard from someone else
  • Deep SEO background with hands‑on AEO or GEO experience, or a strong intuition for how AI models surface and cite brand content; experience running a structured experimentation program with clear hypotheses and documented learnings
  • Proven, daily use of AI tools across your own workflow, and experience or clear trajectory towards managing a team to clear KPIs
  • Exceptional storytelling ability: you can translate complex technology into compelling narratives for customers and the broader market

Bonus / Nice to have:

  • Experience as an early or founding marketing hire at a high‑growth startup
  • Direct expertise in AEO, GEO, SEO, or AI search marketing
  • Familiarity with Goodie’s space: martech, SEO platforms, or AI‑native products
  • Experience building or scaling a marketing function from an early foundation
  • Experience managing a team to clear KPIs
  • Prior experience in Sales or Business Development

Goodie helps leading brands win AI search. As billions of people use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI systems to discover products and make buying decisions, brands need a way to understand and influence how they’re represented.

Goodie gives teams a full AI control plane: real‑time visibility into how AI models speak about their brand and products, how competitors show up, and an optimization engine to improve visibility and performance. This category didn’t exist two years ago – we were early, and we’re defining it.

We’re backed by strong investors, trusted by category‑leading customers, and scaling fast. We’re hiring curious, ambitious builders to help shape the future of AI search.

What we’re looking for:

Goodie AI is searching for a talented and ambitious Data Scientist to join our growing team! You will be the point person turning messy multi‑model signals into measurement, forecasts, and optimizations that our product can act on. If you enjoy building models that ship and change customer behavior, you will like this seat.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with large datasets. Own efficient querying, cleaning, labeling, and taxonomy alignment for brands, SKUs, and categories.
  • Design sampling and classification strategies that turn noisy LLM outputs and crawler logs into reliable brand and product insights.
  • Use LLMs and NLP to extract structure from unstructured text at scale. Topics include query fan‑out, sentiment, citation extraction, and entity linking for brands, products, and creators.
  • Define product‑grade metrics. Create durable definitions for visibility score, answer coverage, product presence, and agentic checkout readiness.
  • Build and run experimentation frameworks. A/B tests, holdouts, counterfactuals, and uplift modeling to quantify impact on citations, share of voice, and conversions.
  • Develop and refine predictive models that analyze and forecast AI search behavior across models and surfaces.
  • Translate complex findings into clear decisions. Partner with the founding team to inform roadmap, pricing, and customer playbooks.
  • Create evaluation harnesses. Establish automatic evals and human‑in‑the‑loop labeling for model quality, bias, and drift across LLM providers.
  • Detect anomalies. Build monitors for crawler behavior, rankings, and feed health to catch regressions before customers do.

What you have:

  • 3 to 7 years in applied analytics or data science within tech, marketing, or ads. Startup or high‑growth experience preferred.
  • Strong Python and SQL. Comfortable in notebooks and in code reviews.
  • Skilled with sampling and inference. Stratified sampling, bootstrapping, extrapolation, reweighting, and variance estimation.
  • Solid ML toolkit. Time series, classification, regression, weak supervision, and methods to estimate event frequency from partial observations.
  • Practical LLM knowledge. Strengths in prompt design, structured extraction, embeddings, and an understanding of model limits and failure modes.
  • Curious and current on multi‑modal and LLM research. You enjoy reading papers and pressure testing ideas in real data.
  • Builder mindset in a fast team. You value clarity, speed, and ownership.

Bonus / Nice to have:

  • Experience with large‑scale information extraction or search quality.
  • Background in causal inference, MMM, or attribution models.
  • Hands‑on work with product feeds and retail catalogs.
  • Contributions to open source or published work we can read.
  • Deployed side projects we can click through.

Our data and modeling canvas:

  • Problems: AI search measurement, AEO scoring, agentic commerce readiness, product catalog and feed integrity, ranking and citation shifts, attribution for AI traffic.
  • Signals: LLM responses, crawler and agent logs, SERP and AI answer snapshots, product feeds, marketplace metadata, GA4 and GSC connectors, CRM data.
  • Targets: Share of voice, citation count, answer coverage, SKU presence, conversion lift, time‑to‑value for optimizations.

Tech stack you will touch:

  • Languages: Python, SQL.
  • Libraries: pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Hugging Face, spaCy.
  • Data: Postgres or AlloyDB, BigQuery, dbt, DuckDB for local work.
  • Production ML/MLOps: model serving (FastAPI/Flyte/Batch jobs), CI/CD, versioning, experiment tracking (MLflow/Weights & Biases), monitoring & alerting for performance/drift.
  • Models and providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, Perplexity, together with internal eval harnesses.

Growth Marketing • Full Time • On‑Site

Goodie helps leading brands win AI search. As billions of people use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI systems to discover products and make buying decisions, brands need a way to understand and influence how they’re represented.

Goodie gives teams a full AI control plane: real‑time visibility into how AI models speak about their brand and products, how competitors show up, and an optimization engine to improve visibility and performance.

We’re backed by strong investors, trusted by category‑leading customers, and scaling fast. We’re hiring curious, ambitious builders to help shape the future of AI search.

What we’re looking for:

This is not a role where you execute someone else’s strategy. It’s the role where you build the strategy, write the playbook, carry the number, and grow the team.

What you’ll do:

Own Revenue

  • Carry a personal sales quota and close enterprise and mid‑market deals with brand, marketing, and digital teams at some of the world’s largest companies.
  • Run full‑cycle sales: discovery, demos, business cases, negotiation, and contracting on your own book of business.
  • Own inbound conversion and build on Goodie’s outbound motion, targeting CMOs, VP’s of Marketing, VPs of SEO and digital marketing leaders.

Build and Coach the Team

  • Set performance expectations, coach pipeline execution and hold reps to consistent standards.
  • Define the ideal AE hiring profile and build the onboarding program that will scale beyond your first hires.

Define the Sales Playbook

  • Refine Goodie’s sales playbook: ICP definition, buyer personas, discovery frameworks, competitive handling, and deal strategy.
  • Develop ROI narratives and business case frameworks that translate Goodie’s platform into quantifiable outcomes for enterprise marketing teams.
  • Identify what’s working in the market and turn it into repeatable process before scaling.
  • Own the revenue strategy with full accountability for direction. It’s a role that generates strategy, not one that waits for it.
  • Partner directly with the CEO and the rest of the leadership team on GTM alignment, campaign feedback, and pipeline planning.

What you have:

  • 5+ years of enterprise or mid‑market B2B SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Direct experience in a player‑coach or sales management capacity.
  • Startup instincts: you’ve operated in an environment without a fully built playbook and you’ve built one rather than waiting for it.
  • Proven ability to manage both inbound pipeline and build outbound motions, ideally at the same company.
  • Executive presence and communication skills: credible discovery call with a VP, build consensus with multiple stakeholders, and close with a C‑suite decision maker.
  • Hands‑on fluency with modern sales tools (HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, Clay, or equivalents).

Bonus / Nice to have:

  • Background in martech, SEO platforms, digital marketing technology, or AI‑native SaaS products.
  • Experience at a company transitioning from founder‑led to team‑led sales, where you helped make that transition.
  • Existing relationships with enterprise or mid‑market brand and digital marketing leaders.
  • Familiarity with AEO, GEO, or AI search as a category; you don’t need to be an expert, but you’re genuinely curious about what we’re building.
  • Experience hiring, onboarding and ramping AEs from scratch.

Benefits and perks of becoming a Goodie:

  • Earn More, Together: Base Pay + Profit Sharing & Commissions Opportunities
  • Flex Work Environment: hybrid at HQ and Remote Globally
