Director of Sales, Holiday Inn Express

Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Scott, LA, is looking for a passionate, results-driven Director of Sales to join our team. As the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth for the hotel. This position requires a strong ability to meet sales targets through both inside and outside sales efforts, while managing and expanding guest room and meeting space rentals. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales with daily inside and outside sales calls to maximize revenue across all market segments
• Ensure all hotel information on websites, marketing materials, and ads are accurate
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain and enhance the hotel's online presence and promotional content
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to boost hotel performance
• Manage sales and marketing budgets to meet revenue goals
• Represent the hotel at local events, including Chamber of Commerce and CVB meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, negotiating and closing sales deals
• Prepare weekly reports on sales performance, highlighting growth opportunities and client base expansion
• Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and programs

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience, hospitality preferred
• Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales tools
• Ability to travel locally and meet clients
• Access to reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits:

• $65,000 - $70,000 total compensation (base + bonus)
