Director of Rehabilitation

The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for managing all therapy department operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving clinical excellence, and fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Direct daily operations of the in-house therapy department

Supervise PT, OT, PTA, and COTA staff

Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state/federal regulations

Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and departmental performance

Partner with facility leadership on quality and census initiatives

Support patient-centered care and positive outcomes

Qualifications

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required

Leadership experience preferred, but strong clinicians without prior DOR experience will be considered

Strong organizational and communication skills

Small facility owned assisted living (personal Care facility), outstanding reputation in the area, attractive facility.
