The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for managing all therapy department operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving clinical excellence, and fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the in-house therapy department
- Supervise PT, OT, PTA, and COTA staff
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state/federal regulations
- Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and departmental performance
- Partner with facility leadership on quality and census initiatives
- Support patient-centered care and positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
- Leadership experience preferred, but strong clinicians without prior DOR experience will be considered
- Strong organizational and communication skills
