Director of Quality, Risk, UR, Outcomes, RN, Tx.

Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, and Risk needed for a healthcare organization. Candidates must have strong experience and demonstrated results as a Director in a general acute‑care setting with at least 10 years of leadership in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Master’s degree.
• CPHQ certification – preferred.
• Strong leadership role in Q.I./P.I. with a steady work history.
• Six Sigma certification – a plus.
• Experience in risk and outcomes management.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the VP of Quality.
• Oversees hospital‑wide Q.I., peer review, outcomes management, external reporting, and patient safety systems.
• Key performance components include:
  • Clinical process improvement and team management across all departments.
  • Leading CMPI direction in collaboration with the VP, CQO and AQOs.
  • Expertise in data/information management, protection, presentation and benchmarking.
  • Leading medical staff peer review management per bylaws and PI plan.
  • Ensuring DNV and other regulatory compliance for quality of care.
  • Registry oversight, budgeting and staffing for quality improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Supporting departmental quality resources as expert partner.
  • Participating with system quality leadership to gain competency and effectiveness in organization‑wide initiatives per strategic plan.
