Director of Quality, Risk, UR, Outcomes, RN, Tx.
Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, and Risk needed for a healthcare organization. Candidates must have strong experience and demonstrated results as a Director in a general acute‑care setting with at least 10 years of leadership in quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Master’s degree.
- CPHQ certification – preferred.
- Strong leadership role in Q.I./P.I. with a steady work history.
- Six Sigma certification – a plus.
- Experience in risk and outcomes management.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the VP of Quality.
- Oversees hospital‑wide Q.I., peer review, outcomes management, external reporting, and patient safety systems.
- Key performance components include:
- Clinical process improvement and team management across all departments.
- Leading CMPI direction in collaboration with the VP, CQO and AQOs.
- Expertise in data/information management, protection, presentation and benchmarking.
- Leading medical staff peer review management per bylaws and PI plan.
- Ensuring DNV and other regulatory compliance for quality of care.
- Registry oversight, budgeting and staffing for quality improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Supporting departmental quality resources as expert partner.
- Participating with system quality leadership to gain competency and effectiveness in organization‑wide initiatives per strategic plan.
