Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company's Quality Management System
• Ensure continued compliance with AISC certification requirements
• Align quality procedures with applicable ISO 9001 standards
• Lead internal and external quality audits
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures and inspection records
• Identify quality risks and implement effective corrective actions
• Investigate nonconformances and reduce recurring quality issues
• Promote continuous improvement across fabrication operations
• Collaborate with production, engineering and project management teams
• Develop, support and hold quality personnel accountable
• Provide senior leadership with clear quality reporting and recommendations
• Maintain consistent standards across all stages of fabrication

Requirements

• Proven quality management experience within structural steel fabrication
• Strong working knowledge of AISC certification requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
• Experience preparing for and managing certification audits
• Demonstrated success implementing or improving quality processes
• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, specifications and inspection requirements
• Confident leadership and team-development abilities
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to influence quality culture throughout an organization
