The Judge Direct Placement is currently seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for an Aviation and Aerospace Manufacturing company in the Fullerton, California area.
COMPENSATION
135k to 145k plus bonus
LOCATION
Fullerton, California area (Onsite position)
MUST HAVE
- BA/BS in a relations dicipline
- Extensive Aerospace manufacturing experience including managing customer audits, AS9100 Certification and NADCAP audits
- Experience managing Inspectors, Quality Engineers and NDT technicians
MUST BE
A US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage quality compliance, and assurance and reducing cost of poor quality
- Utilize lean manufacturing to implement improvements to the QMS system
- Evaluate precision and accuracy of equipment and testing
- Develop standards for inspection, testing and evaluation
- Push quality standards and supplier certification / monitoring
- Maintain AS9100 & NADCAP certifications
- Perform Internal Audits
- Support contract reviews (New contract awards and supplier LTA)
- Drive compliance with FAA, ITAR
- Correct MRB matters
- Review quality trends
- Track root cause and perform corrective actions
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of experience in an aerospace company in Quality Management
- Strong AS9100, NADCAP experience including Heat Treat, NDT - Penetrant, Mag, UT, etc
- OEM Quality Processes knowledge
- Metal manufacturing or forming experience
