Job Title: Director of Project Development
Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is partnering with a real estate development company specialized in affordable housing to hire a Director of Project Development in north Los Angeles.
Direct Reports: None but will collaborate with a team of 4 Project Managers and Assistant PMs to prepare financing applications
Salary Range: $160,000 - $240,000 base + discretionary 15% annual bonus
- Retirement – 5% retirement match
- Time Away – 3 to 4 weeks PTO plus holidays

Description
- Research and develop financing sources, prepare financing applications and meet other lender requirements to secure new projects
- Assist LIHTC programs to procure construction and permanent financing for developments and assist with due diligence requirements for Investors/Lenders at partnership/loan closings.
- Assist in the preparation and updates of project proformas
- Work with other departments to prepare project’s development and construction budget
Qualifications
- 10 years in real estate with an emphasis in multi-family housing or affordable housing development project management.
- Extensive experience with low income housing tax credits and city/county/state funding programs
- Track record of private and public debt financing and equity typical for affordable housing development
- Experience in all phases of new construction development process
