Republican Jobs is managing a confidential search for a Director of Production Operations to join a rapidly growing conservative fundraising and marketing organization.
This is a senior operational leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, managing complex projects, improving workflows, and developing high-performing teams. The organization supports more than 100 political and nonprofit fundraising programs nationwide, requiring close coordination across project management, creative, data, accounting, vendors, and client-facing teams.
The ideal candidate does not need to come exclusively from a direct mail or print production background.
Candidates with strong experience in project management, agency operations, marketing operations, vendor management, or other deadline-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of project managers responsible for complex, deadline-driven programs
- Evaluate and improve operational systems, workflows, quality-control procedures, and internal processes
- Coordinate production schedules, budgets, vendors, deliverables, and cross-functional priorities
- Develop KPIs covering project throughput, cycle times, quality, forecasting, capacity, and vendor performance
- Identify operational risks and resolve potential problems before they affect clients or deadlines
- Improve communication and accountability across creative, data, accounting, production, and account teams
- Evaluate new technologies, AI integrations, vendor relationships, and workflow improvements
- Establish scalable systems that support continued organizational growth
- Partner directly with senior leadership on operational strategy and business challenges
- Build a culture of ownership, consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Significant experience managing complex projects, operations, or production workflows
- Proven success leading teams and managing individual and organizational performance
- Strong understanding of project timelines, budgets, vendors, quality standards, and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement scalable operational systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly
- High degree of initiative, accountability, judgment, and attention to detail
- Interest in conservative politics and mission-driven work
- PMP certification preferred but not required
Experience in project management, agency operations, marketing operations, fundraising, nonprofit operations, print production, direct mail, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary is $100,000 to $130,000 , depending on experience. The position also offers opportunities for additional compensation through commissions and performance-based bonuses.
