Position Overview
Catalyst Golf Performance is seeking a Director of Player Development — Milwaukee Market to lead player development, coaching delivery, client relationships, and performance-program growth throughout the Milwaukee region.
This is a player-coach leadership position for someone who wants to do more than maintain a lesson book.
The Director of Player Development will personally coach athletes while helping build and oversee the complete Catalyst player-development experience—from initial assessment through programming, physical-development recommendations, equipment optimization, practice planning, and on-course performance.
As the Milwaukee market grows, this individual will also play an important role in developing client relationships, expanding programming, and mentoring future Catalyst coaches.

Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Catalyst Golf Game Assessments
- Develop individualized player-development roadmaps
- Deliver private, semi-private, group, and on-course coaching
- Manage ongoing player progress and program accountability
- Integrate golf-specific physical screening into coaching recommendations
- Conduct equipment evaluations and custom club-fitting sessions
- Develop junior and adult player-development pathways
- Utilize technology and performance data to guide coaching decisions
- Help develop Milwaukee-area client relationships and referral networks
- Support clinics, events, corporate programming, and player-development initiatives
- Collaborate with Catalyst leadership on programming, coaching standards, and best practices
- Assist with future coach recruitment, onboarding, and development

- TrackMan or equivalent launch-monitor technology

- Equipment and club-performance analysis

Compensation
Target Total Compensation: $90,000–$125,000+ annually
Compensation is performance-driven and designed to reward coaching production, client development, retention, and market growth.

Minimum Qualifications
- PGA Associate — Level 1 minimum, or comparable professional-development pathway
- Strong golf instruction and player-development skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and desire to develop and maintain a strong coaching clientele
- Professional, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working within a technology-driven coaching environment
Preferred Experience
- TPI Certification
- Junior player development
- Sportsbox AI 3D analysis
- K-Vest or comparable 3D motion analysis
- Advanced 2D video analysis
- TrackMan experience
- Custom club fitting
- Golf-specific fitness and body-swing connection concepts
- On-course coaching and performance strategy
