Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Director of Pharmacy! Bonus Program and Full Relocation!
- This is a working Director position, so will work as a Pharmacist and Director
- Position is part of the Senior Team and reports to the CEO
- Pharmacy Hours are M-F 8:00am to 7:30pm and then remote after 7:30pm
- Saturday and Saturday is 10am – 3pm
- 4 direct reports – 2 Pharmacist and 1 Pharmacy Tech for M-Th and 1 Pharmacist/1 tech on Fridays and PRN Pharmacist Saturday and Sunday
- Director does not typically work weekends
- Medical dispense system is Pyxis
Qualifications
- B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Required
- Knowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services Required
- Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics as well as the use and application of new medications and technology Required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Controlled Substance License in good standing with appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
