To lead, manage and coordinate the activities of servicing our customers which includes: planning, receiving, inventory control, while managing a shipping & manufacturing team.
Qualifications
Be able to develop the strategies & tactics necessary to provide superior quality, cost and delivery to our customers by managing all facets of the team, equipment and facility to do so in a safe and efficient manner. Strengthen, lead & manage the team leadership, ensure that we have a safe workplace, maintain & improve stellar customer service, develop quality products and processes in order to ship quality to our customers, work closely with Quality Management to develop strategies for continuous improvement, develop the team to handle greater and greater responsibilities, maintain expenses in order to meet & beat budgets, work to lower costs through improvements in the processes, manage the inventory levels to meet targeted inventory turns goals, handle purchasing planning duties & work to improve purchased costs. Job requirements- good technical & analytical skills, strong presentation and negotiation skills, confidence, tact, and a persuasive manner, good organizational and time management skills, good people skills for working with a range of colleagues and clients, an ability to work under pressure, computer skills that include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ERP software, international and manufacturing experience a plus, specific requirements- 5 years of Operational or Materials management experience, Bachelor’s degree and or Advanced degree desirable, industrial Engineering background a big plus.
