Director of Operations Non‑Electronics - West Region, LGUS

Join Linde as the Regional ASU Operations Director for the West Region of LGUS. In this high‑impact role you will oversee production, distribution, and maintenance across multiple ASU plants, taking ownership of regional operations, optimizing processes, and leading teams toward ambitious business objectives in a safe and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and enforce safety and environmental compliance for all plants and distribution activities.
• Ensure adherence to Linde's quality system at all times.
• Direct teams to flawlessly execute operational requirements and implement process improvements.
• Develop and manage operational plans aligned with complex business objectives.
• Serve as the primary interface to coordinate cross‑departmental activities and commitments.
• Manage response strategies and maintain effective communication plans.
• Establish goals, promote decision‑making, delegate responsibilities, and overcome challenges.
• Work with the regional productivity team to identify and complete productivity projects (Six Sigma, Lean, cost reduction, and soft savings) to meet assigned goals.
• Achieve plant and product supply reliability goals and develop action plans to address performance deficiencies.
• Recruit, train, coach, and conduct performance reviews for team members to build a cohesive, high‑performing management team.
• Manage budgets, monitor P&L performance, and influence financial outcomes through strategic planning and execution.
• Collaborate across levels of the organization to build alignment and ensure the achievement of shared goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of operational experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar functions.
• 5+ years in plant management with demonstrated success leading complex operations.
• Proven technical abilities in plant operations.
• Strong leadership, team‑building, and decision‑making skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
• Excellent understanding of P&L management and ability to influence financial results within budgetary constraints.
• Focus on operational reliability and efficiency, paired with exceptional planning and execution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to act as a trusted leader across all levels of the organization.
