Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, passenger transportation, trucking, or fleet operations
- Proven success leading multi-site operations and managing large frontline workforces
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, fleet operations, driver management, and transportation compliance
- Experience managing operational budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and build high-performing teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for multi-site transportation operations
- Lead, coach, and develop operations managers, dispatch teams, maintenance leaders, and frontline personnel
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies
- Oversee fleet utilization, dispatch, scheduling, route optimization, and service delivery to maximize operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial performance, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Partner closely with Safety, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to achieve operational objectives
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices across multiple locations
- Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional customer service and employee engagement
- Support budgeting, workforce planning, and strategic growth initiatives
