We're Hiring on behalf of our client: Director of Operations • 100% Onsite near Downey, CA • 140,000 to 170,000 (DOE) • Full-time, Direct-hire

Overview

The Director of Operations leads all manufacturing, production, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable delivery of high-quality products. This role focuses on operational excellence, process optimization, and strategic growth initiatives, driving collaboration across departments and aligning operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across production, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain.
• Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
• Implement lean principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
• Oversee equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, and capital planning.
• Manage procurement and inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with executives on automation and technology-driven improvements.
• Lead organizational change initiatives to support growth and operational excellence.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations.
• Expertise in production management, process improvement, and team leadership.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and production planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid financial acumen in cost control, margins, and budgeting.
