We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft Inc. This position plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of the operations for Elemet Group's four facilities. They are responsible for the performance of all Operations Department functions – Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Material Management, Quality, Production Scheduling, Safety and Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Operations team, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and performance goals.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles to enhance quality, delivery, efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Oversee production planning, budgeting, staffing, and resource management to meet operational targets.
- Implement new manufacturing processes, technologies, and systems to support business objectives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers and supervisors to strengthen team performance and engagement.
- Monitor performance, analyze results, and report to senior leadership while fostering clear communication across the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years previous operations management experience, including forecasting and scheduling.
