Base pay range

$225,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr

Our client is a prominent international consulting firm, overseeing prolific projects across commercial, hospitality and cultural sectors. The firm is based in NYC, but delivers project, cost, and construction management services for high‑profile clients across major U.S. markets.

They are seeking a Director of People and Development to guide the organization’s technical training, quality assurance, and best‑practice standards across project and cost management teams. The role includes developing and implementing company‑wide training programs and technical operations manuals and ensuring high‑quality service delivery across North America.

Responsibilities

• Act as the firm’s lead technical expert across all aspects of a construction project
• Develop and implement company‑wide technical operation manual: define best practices, QA/QC protocols, project controls, and client service standards
• Lead identification, evaluation, and standardization of project delivery tools, templates, and methodologies
• Create workshop seminars – online and in‑office training sessions across North America
• Create management and mentorship training

Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience in construction project delivery, preferably with owner’s representative firms or general contractor
• 5+ years in a leadership or technical oversight role
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Microsoft Project experience is a plus
• Experience developing training programs, SOPs, or technical manuals
