Director of Operations

We\'re partnered with a fast-growing national third-party logistics company on a search for a Director of Operations to lead a 400,000 square foot distribution center in El Paso.

The company is expanding fast. More than a million square feet added this year. A brand new East Coast footprint. Midwest expansion underway. Another 600,000 square feet signing within the month.

The seat above you is being created right now. A new Senior Director of Operations layer is being added between site leadership and the VP of Operations. This isn\'t a someday conversation - it\'s happening as the footprint grows, and more VP-level roles will follow. What you\'ll do

• Lead the full operation of a 400,000 sq ft distribution center across two shifts
• Own the customer relationship: performance, service levels, and the conversations that come with a demanding account
• Lead and develop a team of salaried supervisors and managers, plus an hourly and temporary workforce
• Drive cost, service, safety, and quality performance, and know your numbers cold
• Build the bench - training, development, and succession, so the site grows its own leaders
• Keep the floor safe, organized, and moving

What we\'re looking for

• Distribution, warehouse, or 3PL operations leadership at real volume
• Experience leading salaried supervisors and a mixed hourly and temp workforce
• Genuine floor presence - you lead from the operation, not from behind a door
• Professional polish with customers and comfort being the face of your site
• Someone who is both strategic and willing to roll up their sleeves and learn what they don\'t already know
