Job Description

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operational performance of a non-union mechanical contracting company. This position ensures projects are executed safely, profitably, on schedule, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. The Director of Operations is directly responsible for workforce performance, labor strategy, and supervisory development.

Knowledge & Skills

• 15+ years of experience in non-union mechanical contracting or construction operations.
• 10+ years in a senior operations or project leadership role.
• Demonstrated success leading and scaling a non-union workforce.
• Strong financial acumen with job costing, forecasting, and labor analysis experience.
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and sequencing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
