Join us.General Summary:The Director of Operational Reporting is a strategic leader within the Growth Run Leadership Team, responsible for enhancing organizational performance through robust operational and financial reporting.

This role drives strategic planning, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and champions agile methodologies to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The Director leads initiatives that align capacity planning with business priorities, manages risk, and ensures transparency across operations. Additionally, this role cultivates a high-performing, inclusive team culture and partners closely with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to support integrated planning and budgeting efforts.Job Specifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 8 years of experience in IT, finance, project management, systems, or a related fieldProven experience executing IT and business plans aligned to strategic goalsAdvanced understanding of Agile, Lean, Scaled Agile, and Product Development LifecyclesStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving complex problemsExcellent communication and presentation skills; capable of influencing and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groupsSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently in a dynamic and ambiguous environmentHigh attention to detail and strong documentation skillsPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:1. Leadership and Strategic PlanningProvide strategic guidance across the Growth Run organization to align capacity planning and delivery with business prioritiesInfluence multiple teams through leadership-by-influence, promoting agile practices and continuous improvementIntegrate planning activities to support long-term strategic objectives2. Operational Effectiveness and ReportingOwn the delivery and evolution of operational reporting that drives performance insightsAnalyze operational trends, KPIs, and success factors to identify opportunities for organizational improvementLead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of agile teams and processes3.

Risk Management and Conflict ResolutionProactively identify and manage risks associated with strategic and operational initiativesResolve conflicts with diplomacy, facilitating consensus while advancing business goalsAdjust risk management strategies based on evolving impact and likelihood4. Collaboration and Stakeholder EngagementServe as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, including IT, Change Partners, and Finance, to ensure alignment and transparencyBuild strong working relationships across business and technology functions to support integrated planning and budgetingPartner with Finance to manage annual planning inputs, budget accuracy, and ongoing financial adjustments5. Talent Development and Team BuildingCultivate a strong leadership and talent pipeline to meet organizational goalsMentor and develop staff, supporting self-organizing agile teams and promoting high performanceCreate an inclusive and growth-oriented team culture6. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience. $109,100.00-$224,000.00Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
