Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing facility in the Twinsburg, OH area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys developing nursing teams, improving resident outcomes, and partnering with the Administrator to ensure the nursing department operates effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing department
- Lead, support, and develop the nursing team
- Ensure quality resident care and strong clinical outcomes
- Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain survey readiness and address areas of concern
- Oversee nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices
- Monitor quality measures and implement improvement initiatives
- Provide ongoing education and coaching to nursing staff
- Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management as needed
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio
- Previous Director of Nursing or strong ADON experience in skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations, regulations, and survey processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to coach and develop nursing staff
- Strong commitment to quality resident care
