Director of Nursing (RN) – Orthopedic Surgery Center
A growing Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced RN Director of Nursing to lead clinical and perioperative operations. This role oversees the Operating Room, Pre-Op, and PACU while driving quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for all nursing and clinical operations
- Oversee daily OR, Pre-Op, and PACU workflow
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and patient safety standards
- Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, and staff development initiatives
- Partner with physicians and administration to optimize patient outcomes and operational performance
- Mentor and develop nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture
Qualifications
- Surgical services leadership experience
- Strong orthopedic surgery background
- Experience within perioperative services (OR, Pre-Op, and/or PACU)
- BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain)
Preferred
- Previous Director, Manager, or Nursing Leadership experience
