Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost‑effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana.

Job Summary

This is a managerial position responsible for the efficient and effective administration of all aspects of the health care services 24hrs daily, 7days a week. This position is responsible for the clinical systems.

The Director of Nursing promotes the highest quality of patient care through the application of fair and equitable policies and procedures in collaboration with other health services team members and correctional staff. Duties are operationally directed with an emphasis on appropriate resource utilization and performance standards as established by NCCHC, ACA and other accrediting agencies. Demonstrates personal attributes including leadership, teamwork, ethics, integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• BS degree or ADN in Nursing
• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• Corrections experience preferred (3‑5 years of administrative/supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and decision‑making skills
• Strong computer skills, including office software and internet
• BLS Certification
