A well-established skilled nursing facility in New Jersey is looking for its next Director of Nursing (DON). They\'re looking for a Director of Nursing who can walk in, take ownership of the clinical operation, and lead from the floor — not from behind a desk.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required for this Director of Nursing role. If you\'re a Registered Nurse (RN) who has served as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a nursing home and you\'re ready for a place that will back you up and let you lead, this Director of Nursing position is worth a conversation.
What You\'ll Do
- Lead and oversee all nursing operations for the facility
- Hire, develop, and retain a strong nursing team
- Ensure clinical quality, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with the Administrator and ownership on facility goals
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New Jersey license
- Prior nursing home experience is required — must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
- Prior leadership experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
