Job Description

Director of Nursing Duties / Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing–related services for each patient.
• Participate in ongoing monitoring and evaluation to assess, plan, implement, and deliver care.
• Preserve and improve the quality of patient care.
• Maintain contact with other departments to ensure proper care plans for each patient.
• Develop and evaluate nursing unit personnel.
• Supervise all nursing services and practices, including scheduling of all nursing personnel.

Director of Nursing Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current state‑issued Registered Nursing license; an MSN is preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a nursing supervisor.
• Working knowledge of substance abuse and dual‑diagnosis patients; detox experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and efficiently.

Director of Nursing Compensation

• Salary competitive with experience and location.
