A well-established skilled nursing facility in New Jersey is looking for its next Director of Nursing (DON). They're looking for a Director of Nursing who can walk in, take ownership of the clinical operation, and lead from the floor — not from behind a desk.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required for this Director of Nursing role. If you're a Registered Nurse (RN) who has served as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a nursing home and you're ready for a place that will back you up and let you lead, this Director of Nursing position is worth a conversation.
What You'll Do
Lead and oversee all nursing operations for the facility
Hire, develop, and retain a strong nursing team
Ensure clinical quality, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance
Work closely with the Administrator and ownership on facility goals
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New Jersey license
Prior nursing home experience is required — must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
Prior leadership experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
