The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed criticalaccess hospital in Alturas, CA to hire a Director of Nursing (DON) for their SkilledNursing Facility, with an additional SNF location opening soon.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeingall nursing operations, ensuring the highest level of resident care, andfostering a positive, team-oriented culture. This is an excellent opportunityfor an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about long-term care, teamdevelopment, and operational excellence.

Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise nursing staff toensure high-quality resident care
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, andstaff performance evaluations
• Promote a culture of dignity,respect, and professionalism
• Support quality improvementinitiatives and policy development
• Maintain strong communication withresidents, families, and care teams
• Ensure compliance with allregulatory standards and facility policies

What We’re Looking For

• Active California RN license andcurrent CPR certification
• Director of Nursing certificationpreferred
• Previous leadership experience in long-termcare
• Strong supervisory, organizational,and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lead teams, driveperformance, and foster collaboration
