Director of Nursing - Emergency

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing – Emergency Services to lead a high-performing ER team in Florence, Alabama. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned nursing professional passionate about driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Emergency Services
• Drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Mentor and develop nursing leaders and staff
• Monitor department performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Alabama RN License (or eligibility for Alabama licensure)
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster strong working relationships
• Strong analytical skills with experience implementing performance improvement initiatives
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (or obtained within a specified timeframe)
• Clean nursing license with no disciplinary actions or restrictions
