We are a leading provider of senior living and care services, and we're looking for an experienced, compassionate Director of Nursing Services to join our leadership team.

SUMMARY:

As Director of Nursing Services, you will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Department in accordance with all federal, state, and local standards and regulations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that keep the nursing department running effectively and efficiently

• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care

• Participate in facility surveys and help develop action plans to correct any identified deficiencies

• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure medications are administered as ordered

• Provide direct nursing care as needed

• Coordinate continuing education and in-service training for nursing staff

• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse with a current, unencumbered state license

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility

• Current CPR certification

• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to move throughout the building during the workday

• Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of a leadership role in healthcare

• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 25 lbs.
