Director of Nursing | DON | RN – Bethany Rehabilitation and Health Care Center

Job Description: As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24‑hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer and manage nursing services to residents.
• Provide 24‑hour supervision of nursing services.
• Direct the nursing department to maintain quality standards of care.
• Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
