Director of Nursing (DON)

Pay: $90,000 – $104,000 per year

Location: Madisonville KY

We are a well‑established skilled nursing facility inWestern Kentucky seeking a Director of Nursing who iscommitted to high‑quality, resident‑centered care . We are looking for a DON who leads with compassion, setsclear expectations, supports staff, and prioritizes excellence in every aspectof resident care.

Position Overview

The Director of Nursing oversees all nursing services andensures residents receive safe, consistent, and compassionate care .You will join a supportive administrative team invested in quality outcomes,staff development, and creating a strong, dependable care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadall nursing services within the skilled nursing facility
• Maintainthe highest standards of clinical quality and resident safety
• Support,guide, and develop nursing staff and nurse managers
• Ensurecompliance with state and federal long‑term care regulations
• Reviewincidents promptly and ensure appropriate follow‑up
• Collaboratewith physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Preparefor and participate in state inspections
• Ensureproper staffing, training, and documentation
• Serveas a visible, supportive leader focused on care excellence

Qualifications

• CurrentRegistered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• PriorDON or ADON experience preferred
• Skillednursing/long‑term care experience required
• Strongleadership and communication skills
• Abilityto prioritize, organize, and make sound clinical decisions
• Commitmentto high‑quality resident care and staff support
