Northwell Health's Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to lead the inpatient medical team at South Oaks Hospital in Amityville, NY. This role focuses on inpatient primary care within a psychiatric hospital setting, without psychiatric responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding clinical and managerial skills to assist in patient care and supervise a team of Nurse Practitioners and a Pediatrician.

- Very comfortable daily patient volume without ED responsibilities
- Supervise a team of full-time Nurse Practitioners and part-time Pediatrician
- Article 31 hospital, practice will consist mostly of physicals, assessments, consults, etc.
- South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island
Responsibilities
- Lead the inpatient medical team
- Assist in caring for patients
- Supervise team of full-time Nurse Practitioners and part-time Pediatrician
Compensation
- Nationally competitive salary plus bonus and incentives
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000
