Director of Medical Operations

To support a growing personal injury practice, the full-time remote Director of Medical Operations will manage the medical records function, ensuring compliance and data integrity while overseeing cross-team record collection and case execution metrics. Key responsibilities Own the end-to-end performance of the Medical Records function, including backlog management and staffing capacity planning Oversee medical record collection across teams, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor case execution metrics and drive operational interventions to maintain treatment adherence and data completeness Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered 5+ years of experience in medical records or healthcare administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Working knowledge of HIPAA and state-specific medical records regulations Experience in building or scaling centralized back-office operations, including capacity planning and SLA design Proficient in case-management and records-retrieval systems, with experience in operational data reporting
