Director of Medical Oncology

Houston Methodist Specialty Physicians Group is seeking a medical oncologist/hematologist with leadership experience to lead their growing practice at the Baytown campus. Practice Info

• The cancer center includes: Radiation oncology, breast imaging, infusion, medical hematology/oncology, urology, pulmonology and spinal orthopedics.
• Currently have 4 Medical Hematologist-oncologists on staff.
• Houston Methodist Baytown is a full-service, acute care hospital serving communities in Harris, Chambers, Liberty and surrounding counties.
• The hospital has a new state-of-the-art, five-story patient tower as part of a $250 million expansion project.
• This is a 392 licensed bed hospital with 18 operating rooms, and over 1,400 employees.
• Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group enables physicians to maintain autonomy with respect to clinical practice while growing their practice within an academic environment.

Requirements

• Possess an MD or DO degree
• Be Board Certified in Medical Oncology
• Have at least 3 years of leadership experience
