We are expanding our U.S. operations and seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our plant in North America.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our state-of-the-art facility specializing in automation equipment manufacturing and precision machining. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and test operations.

What You’ll Own

• Lead all plant operations including CNC machining, metal fabrication, assembly, quality, maintenance, and EHS
• Drive P&L accountability , capacity planning, and capital investment strategy
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and world-class quality standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949)
• Build, coach, and retain a high-performance leadership team
• Foster a strong safety culture and employee engagement across shifts

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Strong background in precision machining, automation equipment, or custom machinery
• Proven success managing multi-shift operations and large, cross-functional teams
• Expert-level knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma , 5S
• Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)
• Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 compliance
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling
• Excellent communication and executive presence

Requirements:

• Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required due to frequent communication and coordination with our headquarters in China.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship . The company is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, GA area .
