Director of Maintenance

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Director of Maintenance to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As the Director of Maintenance, you will lead facility maintenance operations at Southland Casino. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee safe and efficient operations, guide preventive maintenance and capital planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a welcoming facility for guests and team members. You will also build and develop a high-performing maintenance team while partnering with facility leadership to shape the long-term vision for maintenance operations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104,100 – $140,500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

• Direct and oversee all maintenance operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Develop, implement, and enforce all departmental policies and procedures
• Prepare financial documents to ensure funds for operational and capital expenditures
• Develop a strategic vision for facility maintenance areas
• Ensure the facilities are safe for all guests and team members
• Inspect, evaluate, and maintain the physical appearance of the facility
• Review facility operations for compliance with relevant codes
• Create and maintain a preventive maintenance program
• Hire, evaluate, lead, and develop a high-performing maintenance operations team
• Develop and propose strategic vision for maintenance operations to facility leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all Company operational standards, policies, and procedures, as well as all GuestPath Universal Service Standards Programs
• Some duties may require driving a company vehicle

• At least five years’ leadership in maintenance operations
• Exceptional leadership abilities essential
• Superior written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to specify, implement, and utilize facility management software
• Ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions required
• Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational and guest service abilities
• Experience in a park, casino, or hotel environment preferred
