Job Summary:

Bella Terra Streamwood, a renowned healthcare organization committed to providing quality, reliable care, rehabilitation, and wellness programming, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Develope and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

• Manage and maintain a budget for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Life Safety and other regulatory requirements

• Identify and prioritize capital projects and implement them in a timely and cost-effective manner

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferable in a skilled facility

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
