Director of IT Governance (Senior Public Service Administrator, Option 3)

The Director of IT Governance leads enterprise-wide business and technology alignment for the Department of Innovation and Technology, planning and coordinating IT governance standards, compliance processes, and policy enforcement across state agencies. The role includes supervising staff, managing IT initiative charters, overseeing performance improvement initiatives, and reporting to senior leadership on governance matters. This is a full-time position based in Springfield, Illinois.

Key qualifications:

• Four years of college with coursework in Management Information Systems, Data Processing, or related field
• Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in MIS, Data Processing, or related fields
• Three years of experience administering or managing enterprise governance platforms or architecture tools (ServiceNow APM, TRM, or similar)
• Four years of professional experience in an IT Governance Manager or equivalent enterprise-level role
• Four years of professional experience developing and communicating enterprise IT metrics and audit reporting
