Director of Technology Services (MSP)

Downtown Cleveland, OH | 100% On-Site


Emerald Resource Group is partnering with a Cleveland-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for an experienced IT leader who enjoys working directly with clients, solving business problems, and helping organizations make smarter technology decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong MSP background who wants to spend more time on technology strategy, client relationships, and leadership rather than day-to-day technical support.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as a trusted hands on technology advisor (vCIO) to 15–20 small and midsize business clients.
  • Develop IT strategies, technology roadmaps, and budgets.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with business owners and leadership teams.
  • Advise clients on Microsoft 365, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to deliver solutions and improve client operations.
  • Help clients make smart technology investments that support their business goals.


What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership or consulting experience within an MSP.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
  • Experience with ConnectWise is a plus.
