Director of IT | Longmont, Colorado
We’re seeking a Director of IT for a company developing high-power semiconductor, fiber, and ultrafast lasers for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
The mandate combines technology strategy, infrastructure leadership, cybersecurity oversight, and financial responsibility, with direct engagement across senior leadership.
Key responsibilities:
• Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with business objectives and operational priorities.
• Lead IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable networks, systems, and services.
• Strengthen cybersecurity, risk management, and business continuity across the technology environment.
• Support the infrastructure needs of engineering, manufacturing, and business teams.
• Direct IT budgets and investment decisions, balancing performance, resilience, and business value.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to establish priorities and turn complex technical challenges into clear decisions.
We’re looking for an IT leader with deep infrastructure expertise, sound commercial judgment, and the credibility to lead across technical and executive audiences.
CISSP or CISM certification is highly desirable, alongside experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another technically demanding environment.
